Elise Tenen-Aoki specializes in developing global trademark strategies to register, use and protect trademark portfolios for high technology, entertainment, apparel, pharmaceutical, restaurant industry and consumer product companies, drawing upon her experience as an examining attorney at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office as well as the Vice President/IP Counsel of a major entertainment company in charge of overseeing its portfolio of more than 25,000 trademarks worldwide. With experience in the government and corporate sectors, and working with both domestic and international clearance, use, registration and enforcement matters, Elise is adept at maintaining a balance between a company’s business and marketing objectives and the need to create, maintain and enforce a strong worldwide portfolio, utilizing cooperative as well as litigation-drive strategies to achieve a client's objectives.
